Procurement Manager (m/w)
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
The Procurement Manager provides strategic category oversight to one of the major spend categories. Procurement Managers may also work in a specialty area suchas P&A or in one of the manufacturing facilities. This position typically reports to a Procurement Director or Procurement Vice President. Moreover you will:
- Lead by example the regional and global safety and ethical initiatives and drive structural changes to solve systematic quality and service issues
- Identify, develop, and implement sourcing strategies to reduce total delivered cost and improve security of supply for assigned categories
- Work closely on new product introductions & acquisitions to understand present & pending purchasing needs
- Monitor, analyze, communicate, and provide guidance for market cycle impacts and trends within assigned process and spend categories
- Effectively negotiate and manage contract and supply positionsto the benefit of Ecolab core business requirements
- Drive efficiency improvements in conjunction with R & D andsupply chain to assure availability at required quality & costs levels; identify potential suppliers and manage on-going relationships
- Effectively implement strategic supplier strategies and initiatives, lead TDC sourcing process and provide feedback on improvements
- Effectively communicate sourcing strategies, results, and metrics to leadership teams as required and collaborate with global sourcing and stakeholders
- Implement procurement tools, technology, and sourcing processes to improve results & increase efficiencies

- Develop collaborative cross-functional relationships to meet internal business needs
- Learn and apply the TDC sourcing process
- Basic coaching and mentoring skills
- Excellent German and English language skills
